When I was searching for a childcare facility for our 1 year old, I came across this daycare, which stood out to me for its private like setting and warm environment. It has since been 10 years as we have had two more children and have happily sent all three to this daycare. Each of them have loved it and we always felt safe and comfortable knowing how well our children would be taken care of.
The staff are always friendly and professional and always have time to answer questions or to talk about the children’s day. We quickly learned we did not have to worry about drop-off as our kids quickly adjusted as the staff lovingly reassured them every day. It’s was a relief to me as a mother knowing my child would be in an environment where they would learn and thrive and of course eat well! My kids looked forward to going there every day.
I’d like to thank the owners and the entire staff, many of whom looked after all 3 of our children and helped them grow over the years. Thank you for taking care of our kids they way you would your own. We think of you like family.

We just wanted to write a review of our experience with Kiddy Place:
The staff at Kiddy Place has been truly exceptional. From the very beginning, our daughter was accepted with a warm welcome and the KP team made all the efforts to ensure she was comfortable and transitioned smoothly to being at daycare. The care and attention to the unique characteristics and habits of our child made all the difference. Soon after starting, our daughter got really attached to her amazing teachers and made great friends in her class. It wasn't long before the day arrived when our daughter was asked at daycare if she wanted to go home and she said no. when asked again if she wanted to stay at daycare, she said yes! It has been so amazing to see her learn so much over the months as everyday she comes home, she is doing or saying something new.
This family run daycare really shows that every child there is treated as family. It really helps that we can go to work feeling assured that our daughter was in good hands, having an amazing time and learning so much. We would highly recommend Kiddy Place as we have seen so many benefits from her learning experiences such as empathy and kindness that the staff at Kiddy Place displays every day. We find that Kiddy Place will go above and beyond what you would expect a daycare to do for every children and for the parents as well. It's very evident that the KP team are truly passionate about what they do. They therefore care to the fullest degree about the children, take responsibility with a sense of genuine love and are also just as touched by those special developmental moments that each child progresses through when we're fortunate enough to witness it. We greatly appreciate all that the staff from Kiddy Place has done for our daughter and are grateful we were lucky to find this daycare.

Right from the start we knew that Darius was in great hands. You helped me out in a tough position during my first week back to work. I think the hardest part of being a new Mom is leaving your child in the hands of someone else all day. After my first visit to Kiddy Place (in a panic to find a Great Daycare) I had a settling and great feeling about the way it was run, the level of care provided and about the staff. I knew Darius was going to be just fine! We just want to say Thank you so much for all of the Care, Love, Respect and amazing social skills and of course showing him FUN since the first day he started at Kiddy Place. His experience right from the Infant room to the Toddler room has been fantastic. Darius has made so many friends and developed great relationships with all of the Staff. I am sure he will always remember, as I know we will.

How often do you have that special comfort feeling when you pull away from a daycare after dropping off your son or daughter that they will have a fantastic day? My husband and I do daily thanks to Kiddy Place Childcare Centre in Maple.
After pulling our son out of his first daycare as an infant we feared what all parents do... will we ever find another daycare that meets our high expectations? We did in Kiddy Place. Marcello was one of the first infants to graduate to the toddler program at Kiddy Place and happiness bestowed us as his transition was with such ease. The friendly staff made sure that this important time in his life was celebrated and Marcello did not even notice his graduation due to the careful planning and knowledge of the staff.
You know you are in the right place when your son runs willingly into his daycare every morning and falls into the open arms of the staff.
It is with sadness that we have currently moved and Marcello will be leaving the tender care of Kiddy Place. However, I assure you as a full time working mother, that this decision was difficult and that I did contemplate travelling the distance daily so my son could continue thriving in such a clean, family-oriented, and caring facility as it is worth the drive.
We thank you for taking care of our little boy during such a crucial time in his life (infant to toddler) and I thank the staff for the education he has received.
Now all I have to do is somehow convince Rose to pass on her muffin and minestrone recipes.

As a first time mom and returning to work after being with my son for a full year, finding a day care that I felt very assured and comfortable about was an extremely difficult task. It's my son, so of course finding a daycare that was serious about its environment and the children was important. As I looked for, talked with and researched daycares, I thought I found the perfect fit only to be disappointed when I checked out the government's website – but not with Kiddy Place.
Their infant room is bright and filled with so many learning oriented toys, their menu is an inspiration to first time moms looking for nutritious meals to make at home, and their staff is so giving, so caring and so loving to my Ethan: it is now a difficult task to bring him home since he is having so much fun and feels so comfortable at Kiddy Place. No wonder they have a 100% rating! And most importantly, I know that my Ethan is being cared for in a safe and healthy environment. It is reassuring that Kiddy Place takes a serious stance on the health of all the children in their care and knows that should my Ethan ever develop symptoms, they will call me right away for me to come and care for my son. Ethan and I feel so lucky and blessed to have found Kiddy Place. There is no other daycare like it. I look forward to the upcoming years.

Dear Parents;
Like you, I was once seeking and researching a lot of daycares in the area in order to choose the best one for my son.
When that time came for me to go back to work and to leave my son with "someone" for over 8 hours a day I wanted to make sure that that someone would be trustworthy and competent enough to meet all my son's needs. My husband and I did a lot of research on daycares in the area based on their location, experience of staff, curriculum, food choices and expenses.
We knew that we didn't want a home based daycare because we wanted more for our son than just a sitter to watch him while we were at work. Therefore our first choice was a very high standard educational program daycare with staff that had a lot of years of experience educating young children. Unfortunately, after only a few weeks we noticed that something vital was missing from that environment - the actual CARE part of daycare. Our son was not being cared for in a loving matter that all toddlers need. Sure he was educated and looked after but not cared for.
So it was back to daycare research for my husband and myself. Fortunately for us we found Kiddy Place. They allowed us to observe the way they worked with the children and allowed us to help our son adjust to his new environment.
Their friendly and loving staff provided our son with a stable, educational and playful setting that made him grow and develop into a smart, confident and friendly young man ready for school. It provided us with a peace of mind that our son was in excellent hands while we were away working.
Our son loves Kiddy Place and all the staff members there. They are more than teachers or educators to him, they are his family. He talks about his day with smiles and enthusiasm and looks forward to being there. He was enrolled in Kiddy Place at 16 months and is now almost 6 years old and treats Kiddy Place as his second home.
No parent could ask for more.

I can't believe it has been almost 7 years since we first joined Kiddy Place.
From the age of 18 month when Julian first joined, then Antonio and now Daniel, we have been so happy with the genuine care and love you have provided. The teachers have greatly enhanced their learning and enriched their lives thru lots of fun. The boys are treated with respect and kindness which in turn is reflected in their actions.
You have exceeded our expectations tenfold. We are so happy to have found Kiddy Place to care for our boys. I don't think we could have made a better choice.

Just as you master the routine of being a parent, and when your lotto tickets don't make you rich, it's time to start researching options for the best child care and return back to work !
We enrolled our daughter in daycare as an infant, and at the age of two we moved houses and decided to search for child care closer to home.
Having to make new friends and adapt to various changes can be difficult for a child. We would recommend Kiddy Place to parents without hesitation, whether you are looking for a change, or if this is a new experience for your family.
From her first day at Kiddy Place, she was welcomed by all the children and staff, with very little disruption to her routine. We as parents know, you don't mess with the routine ! I was worried about the transition, but the staff members at Kiddy Place made it seamless for all of us.
Now that she is almost four, we have decided to enrol her in the JK program at Kiddy Place. We are confident that she will continue to learn and grow, as she is encouraged to achieve her very best. Most importantly, we know that she will be happy.

It's hard to believe that almost 6 years have past since we first walked into Kiddy Place for Daniel's first hour-long trial -run in the toddler room. Since then both Daniel and Jessica have been cared for and taught by many caring, nurturing teachers and assistants for which they have many happy memories. Never once did I worry what they would eat (thanks for the recipe's Rose!), whether they would learn or be cared for properly on any given day. The consistent care throughout their years at Kiddy Place manifested in a sense of ease and comfort for both of them as well as for my husband and I.
We have so much to thank-you all for, the most important of which is providing a safe, loving, nurturing environment for our most treasured assets. We wish you the best both personally and professionally.

The variety of educational and fun activities at Kiddy Place are great, but what I like best is the nurturing my son receives from the staff. He is greeted with smiles and hugs everyday. I credit them for teaching him social skills and preparing him for kindergarten.
This is what has kept him there for the past 2 1\2 years. It is a place where the safety and happiness of children is # 1 priority. I would highly recommend Kiddy Place for anyone looking for a great daycare where you can leave your child and know they will be well cared for.

Kiddy Place Childcare Centre is a family run establishment. Our children have been enrolled at Kiddy Place since 2004. We are very happy with the centre. They provide nutritional meals, well organized activities. The Staff is conscious of all health issues and wellness. They are friendly and have the children's needs as their main focus.

It seems like yesterday, and not three years ago, that I nervously walked through the doors of Kiddy Place to conduct my own investigation about daycare centres. I met with the Director - Pina Olsson and she explained the schedules, nutritious meal plans and safety issues. Wanting my decision to be an educated one, I explored a couple other daycares but there was something so warm and safe about Kiddy Place, I knew deep down inside that my decision was already made.
The first day of taking my two year daughter on her first day was a difficult one...More for myself than for my daughter, and if I remember correctly, I was the one that cried!
Fast forward three years later, and the same warm and safe feeling exists with me, at Kiddy Place. The staff is informative as to daily events and also keeps me apprised as to how my daughter's day has progressed.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Kiddy Place to other parents. The fact that my daughter loves to go to daycare is reassuring in knowing that she is attended to in every aspect.
This will be our last year with Kiddy Place as my daughter will be going to school full time next year and I think when that time comes, I might shed a tear again, but it will be because of leaving the Kiddy Place family!
