PHILOSOPHYAt Kiddy Place Childcare Centre, we encourage learning through play. We will accomplish this by focusing on the children’s artistic, physical, emotional and intellectual development. At our centre, we feel it is important that the children have the chance to explore and be creative; through different activities the children will be able to achieve these goals.
The environment at Kiddy Place Childcare is a positive and warm place; here at our centre we want the children to feel at home. We strongly believe that when children feel safe and secure in their environment, this is when they are able to flourish. Our staff members are warm loving adults that will provide a safe and healthy environment for the children.
Hours of Operation and Closures
Kiddy Place Childcare Centre operates 5 days a week.
The centre is open from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The centre is closed on all the following Public Holidays:
- New Years Day
- Victoria Day
- Labour Day
- Boxing Day
- Good Friday
- Canada Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Family Day
- Good Friday
- Civic Holiday
- Christmas Day
A $30.00 Registration Fee and $200.00 Security Deposit is required at time of registration, upon receipt of these funds a parent manual and application/contract will be issued.
The following documents must be submitted to the office prior to your child’s starting date.
- Application Form (FULLY COMPLETED) a return date will be given at time of registration
- Updated copy of your child’s immunization card
- Twelve post-dated cheques dated the 1st of each month
Kiddy Place Childcare Centre fees are set according to the on-going cost of operation. Fees are reviewed and set annually. You will be given written notice of fee increases. Fees are based on a weekly rate multiplied by 52 weeks and divided by 12 months. Prices are rounded off to the nearest dollar. Cheques are required in advanced and post-dated for the 1st of each month. Income tax receipts will be issued in February.
